Google consolidated its computer science organizations into Code with Google. As a result, the Made w/ Code website and its social channels are no longer online. You can still check out the work I helped to contribute to in this project, plus other featured MWC projects on my website.
OVERVIEW
Google's Made w/ Code (MWC) partnered with Snapchat to create a contest called the #MyFutureMe Challenge. The goal was to motivate girls to create their own Snapchat lens that showed how they envisioned their future. The winner of the challenge would have their lens go live nationally! MWC tasked my team to help them conceptualize and build out a campaign that promoted the #MyFutureMe Challenge.
CAMPAIGN REEL
CHALLENGE
To promote the contest to teens across the nation, MWC asked our team to create a large-scale campaign to promote the #MyFutureMe Challenge. The campaign spanned Snapchat ads, organic social content, user-generated social content, extensive partner promotion, a redesign of MWC's homepage, and designs for coding projects featured on MWC's website.
ANIMATED HOMEPAGE PANEL
RESULTS
The #MyFutureMe Challenge gained MWC a partnership with Snapchat and a variety of celebrities plus influencers. Inspiring women like Malala Yousafzai, Joanna Coles, and Lilly Singh helped support the campaign. 22,000 teens entered the contest, which marked the #MyFutureMe Challenge as one of the largest initiatives that MWC had undertaken since its inception.

PARTNER POSTS
My team and I provided social posts to campaign partners to further promote the contest. Influential partners like Malala Yousafzai, Karlie Kloss, and Lorraine Twohill posted our posts on their channels which helped get more campaign coverage.

MADE W/ CODE POSTS
For MWC's Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr channels, we created various call-to-action posts that helped inspire teens to take part in the contest. Since Snapchat was sponsoring the contest, we also created fun Snap ads that highlighted the contest.
